Log Kya Kahenge (What People Say)

Are you worried about what people will say? Am sure you will be, as we spend our whole life thinking about ‘Log kya kahenge’. And by the time we realize, we are already at the end of our journey.

Today I am here to talk about the reasons we always worry about and how other people’s opinion impact our lives.
There is so much pressure around us that we are always trying to prove ourselves. There is so much competition and amid these expectations, we forget to live our lives. Always proving our worth to others. Often, we strive to convince the world that we are perfect, in hopes that we will be cherished and welcomed by all, but we cannot please everybody. At every step, we wait for the consents and approvals and habitually forget our self-worth as we are busy proving to the world.

Why is it so important? Have you ever thought about it?

According to me, Life is not perfect for anybody. There are many ups and downs, bends, and curves. The battle of life is always ongoing but there are 2 key reasons that tag along with this question:

The first reason being is not having the “ME” time. In today’s highly hectic world, finding solitude is like a lost art. We have forgotten to investigate ourselves with our needs and happiness as we are busy serving the outside world. From ME-MYSELF, the focus is always on THEM and THEY.

The second reason is, that from birth, we were not been taught or trained on how much “ME” is important. As soon we step into this world, and just learn to crawl and walk and understand what “ME TIME” is, we are already in a maze of competition, expectations, etc. and that’s how the journey of Proving “US” begins.

This message is for all of us, especially the parents and the teachers, it is important to first understand “ME” in us and then to teach our kids the importance of their mind, and their body rather than dictating them all the time. Unless we know ‘US’ completely we cannot understand our kids fully. Teach them the importance of their individuality and the importance of ‘ME’ in them, which will make them efficient and confident as they grow up.

One thing we should all understand is that when we start dictating our kids, parallel we are making them incompetent and mentally handicapped unknowingly. We often fail to understand the main problem of Mental Imbalance that the world is facing today.

We as parents need to be more educated, responsible, and understanding.
